Steve was introduced to the tour by his legal representative Huw Bowden who was looking for a way to get him out of the country. He quickly made himself popular by studiously competing for the wooden tee and trying (and failing) to keep up with Huw's consumption of Rose. The OVGS were relieved that he has at least beaten the big C. Stevie's favourite saying is 'No good deed goes unpunished' which is probably why he's still friends with Huw.
